Its been over 8 months that I am working as a freelance writer for small advertising agencies, publication house and similar other detached assignments. The work is fine so is the time lines but the thing that is very important is the worst aspect of freelancing. Yes...yes..you got me correct. The money. People dont pay, in fact to be closer to the truth, they never pay on time. Will the mutual funds, phone bills and other payments wait for them?
Just as I was trying to get a grip over my life, trying to decipher what life actually wants me to do or better what I wanted to do next, I correctly and pleasantly realized that I want to spend some more time in advertising. But before the enlightenment dawned upon me, I had done some scribbles which became pretty designs for silver jewellery and yes I was paid for them so no complaints at all.
Then participated in a media house plus cosmetic brand initiative..oh heck its my blog I can take names. So I participated in Take Care Take Charge Initiative organized by Garnier and Times of India where my idea was one of the top 10 in Delhi and northern region. Could not make it to the top 6:(((( [Will put my idea in the blog very soon].
And now finally am back in a new agency to do mazdoori. The months that just went by were great, hope to make it better from today onwards.
